David Lin, was a successful youth player in Californian later attending the University of California, Los Angeles where the 2000 team won the NCAA D1 National title and was runner up in 2001. After graduating from UCLA, David made his way to El Paso, TX, where he is currently working on his Ph.D in Biology.  During this time, he has been involved with the local volleyball community by serving as a club coach and volunteer and graduate assistant for the University of Texas at El Paso.  Most recently he served as head coach for El Paso Wildfire’s newly formed 16’s team, which took third in the Sun Country Region and as assistant coach for the 18’s team, regional champions/ nationally ranked top 25 team.
